  • Join us for a gathering of scientists from all career levels within the Iowa Neuroscience Institute!

  • The retreat will allow current postdoctoral trainees to share their research, explore resources available to support their success, and conect with peers and faculty in a collaborative, energizing setting.

     

    Event Lineup

    Postdoc Resource Fair  9-10am

    Information about resources for international students, applying for and maintaining grant funding, and pursing academic or non-academic career paths.

    Resource Talks  10am-12pm

    Invited speakers will give an overview of the innovation funding opportunities and how to manage retirement options.

    Data Blitz + Lunch  12-2pm

    Selected trainees will participate in a data blitz presentation; lunch provided

    Poster Showcase  2-4pm

    Postdocs will present their work to peers and INI members

    Social and Awards 5-8pm

    The day will end with food and fun at PinSocial in North Liberty.  Awards will be announced for best poster and best neuroscience art!
